I suspect that there are hormonal reasons for my sudden-onset depression, I really do, because having pizza and a yogurt parfait for lunch helped a lot.

The other thing that has helped is my decision to gradually hand over all my filing, mailing, and photocopying to our departmental assistants. Everyone in accounting and client services has had the assistants doing that stuff for ages already, so I ask you: why shouldn�t I? I deserve a little administrative help as much as anyone else.

I�m going home now, to hug J and kiss his little face. All this work will still be here tomorrow morning.
