Oh, I'm going to have fun with my new project. First, I'm going to clear out loads of stuff. Then, I am absolutely getting a beeee-yoo-tiful bed.

I was just ooh-ing and aah-ing over some gorgeous ones--leather-upholstered. Oh. My. Gah. Upholstered. That's what I want. Simple lines, not scroll-y black-painted metal with wooden posts, or metal jailhouse bars, or cold metal angles, or bookshelves in the headboard. No chrome, no lacquer. No drawers underneath, or anything that needs to be hidden by a bedskirt. Maybe a platform.

Call it a bee in my bonnet. I must have my perfect bed.
