Seems inappropriate to be too happy today, considering what's happened in Israel.

I'll just say that last night we ate dinner, saw a movie (The M@gdalene Sisters--beautiful and amazing film, terribly disturbing subject), and had a drink. Sitting next to him in the theater was as nice as I had imagined, and perhaps even nicer.

On my little mental tally sheet, he has a lot more pluses than minuses. I just hope I'm weighting everything correctly this time. How would I know?
