Okay, that makes two good social events in one week, y'all. @fter H0urs at the Art Institute--excellent, everyone should go. Very nice crowd, live music, liquor, and food.

And here's something new: I love gin and tonic. L-O-V-E gin and tonic.

I'm leaving in 45 minutes to pick up J at school and take him to a family Shabbat barbecue at the synagogue. 40 smackers this is costing me, egads. This better be some kinda special barbecue. I wouldn't mind so much if thought there might be a chance that J will eat something besides potato chips and watermelon.
