My new little premature nephew is gaining one ounce every day. A plucky little person, obviously! He may be out of the hospital much sooner than anyone guessed. Very excellent.

Another plucky little person I know has just signed up for dance, er, "creative movement" class at preschool. Quoth he: "I might be the only boy in the dancing class. I hope I am!" Shrewd of him, and also a bit unnerving in a four-and-a-half-year-old.

Now look, it's 12:34. I am an idiot for staying up so late and I will be cranky again tomorrow.
